The painting by Jean Philipe Moreno depicts a bucolic scene. Moreno is inspired by the paintings of the Neapolitan School of the 1800s and in particular by the Neapolitan painter Filippo Palizzi, he was one of the greatest interpreters of nineteenth-century Italian realism, he particularly distinguished himself in the reproduction of natural environments and rural animals.
