Still Life with Black and White Grapes – Neapolitan School – Oil on canvas

In this oil painting on canvas the painter Ciccone is inspired by the early seventeenth-century Neapolitan school painting which had Giovan Battista Ruoppolo as one of the major exponents, well-known author of compositions of ‘posing nature’ – mainly fruit and vegetables, but more rarely also fish. In it is painted a composition of vine shoots, black and white grapes, apples and peaches. The warm shades of the colors are beautiful.
